rammstein – erwacht

rammstein are currently on their `made in germany tour´ in europe, they had been on my agenda for a long time to see them live and finally last night i was able to catch them in dublin (ireland). the live performance is just an extreme of visual and sound, your are getting involved strait from the start and wonder how quick the time passes.
the unforgettable pyrotechnical effects are jaw dropping and you have to see them live to absorb them in all their magnitude. though being a bit at the back the heat was extreme and i could only imagine how it was further up front, madness at its best.

would i see them again, i can only answer it with a yes with my mind silently screaming “du hast”, but until than i will be enjoying looking back on the videos made during the night and listen to their 6 albums:

kina grannis – kicking of her tour 2012 in dublin

kina grannis is one of the artist who is using the internet to its potential and has already an impressive following
with her unconventional style she brings a great show to the stage and binds the spectators with her music

it was a great show and a definite a go to if you have the chance, she is currently gigging in europe

if you should miss her on her tour she has 4 great albums out already with her last release “stairwells” featuring the smooth love songs “valentine” and “in your arms

george murphy – just seen last weekend

in dungarvan (ireland) i came across a young and very talented singer, george murphy, in downeys’ bar
he is mad into Irish traditional / folks music and released 3 album:

his voice is amassing and he reminds me of “the dubliners”. george has his own touch and style of music as well which you can see in his own song “where is my island
he is a musician to look out for

welcome to innocent smiley

at the moment this side is getting a brand new look

in the mean time check the videos under the “music videos” featuring:
beyonce, janelle monae, ke$ha, royseven, coldplay, neon trees, the national, bipolar empire, the looks,
kaiser chiefs, little green cars, gypsies on the autobahn, deus and the naked and famous

follow us on youtube or twitter/like us on facebook to get the latest news

check back soon, there are changes coming

the naked and famous – the kiwis do know how to do it

they are a little surprise, playing in front of a sold out olympia theater (dublin, irland), the naked and famous moved the crowed from young to old
this young energetic band from the other side of the world are world class already, a must if you can catch them

with 1 album, out we can not wait for the next one to come along

deus – belgium rocks ireland

with a few years around, deus is one of belgium best kept rock secrets, when they come around your area do not miss them
it had been a little while that i tried to see them, luckily enough i was able to catch them in the academy (dublin, ireland), with the energetic song “ghost” they rocked the crowd

do not miss out on their 6 albums:

little green cars – young and full of energy

this little group is about to explode with talent, lucky enough i was able to see them in whelans (dublin, ireland)
little green cars are definitely about to emerge onto the big scene and will be heard of in 2012

for the time being they have 1 ep out and hopefully they will have an album soon:

gypsies on the autobahn – a strong performance

this fresh young band opened the evening in whelans (dublin, ireland) for “little green cars”

they warmed up the audience with their energetic songs and prepared them for a great evening

kaiser chiefs – a treat of indie rock

they definitely know how to move the crowd, the olympia theatre (dublin, ireland) had been the perfect choice to bring their new album “the future is medieval” on stage
it was an enjoyment to see them to shake the stage and rock the crowed, with their all time best of “oh my god

at current state kaiser chiefs have 4 albums out:

royseven – a dubliner band rising

having seeing them at oxegen 2011 (ireland), i was able to catch “you say, we say”, the more fun it was to see them again in the olympia theatre (dublin, ireland)
they are a defiantly a group to catch during a festival or in an indoor gig on both opportunities they did not disappoint, they closed their set with “killer” in dublin

royseven have 2 albums out for the moment:

the looks – a promising indie rock band

it was a pleasant surprise to see young and talented band playing in the worksman’s club (dublin, ireland), though the crow was small they knew how to please them

the single “romeo” was a pleasure to see live, for sure an album is on the way

coldplay – classical crowd moving

closing oxegen 2011 (ireland) after a long and great weekend, coldplay pushed once more the crowd to an ecstatic state of mind during “open up your eyes [politik]

they have released 5 albums, but they have not finished yet:

beyoncé – from a young girl to a great artist

a great artist in the making, beyoncé came a long way and has not finished yet
as a multi-talented / multi-tasking artist she finds always a little time to wow us again and again
at oxegen 2011 (ireland) she did an amazing show, during “best thing i never had” she pushed the crowed over the edge …

at the time she has 4 albums out and for sure there will be more to come:

the national – keeping it old school

being around for a little while, the national kept true to their indie rock heard during oxegen 2011 (ireland) causing a little chaos when front man matt burning goes into the crowed during “terrible love

since 2001 they have released 5 albums, and they have presented a good few songs from their last release “high violet”:

bipolar empire – just about to burst with talent

with their song “feel that you own itbipolar empire shown their finest stage performance at oxegen 2011 (ireland)
as an alternative rock band originating from ireland they are about to emerge onto the big stage, they are not to be missed if you have the chance to see them, a festival pleaser for sure but if they turn up in your city do not hesitate to pop by to see them

bipolar empire have released their debut album named after the great single “feel that you own it

ke$ha – controversy and fun on the stage

it is good to see when an artist and the band have fun on the stage at oxegen 2011 (ireland), ke$ha does combine the fun facture with the stage performance extremely well
during “tik tok” she passed the madness onto the crowd, definitely not to be missed if you can catch her at a festival

do not miss to look at ke$ha 2 albums, they are worth looking at:
